Good Game Discussion Kick-Off

So, here’s the post to talk about games that you’ve liked that work well for couples. These can be games you played together, games that one person played and the other enjoyed watching, and the like. I’ll throw a couple things in there to get discussion started.

World of Warcraft. Sally and I lost several months to this one. It was pretty great up until we hit 60 and didn’t have very many things to do as a 2 person group.

    Civ 4. ‘Nuff said.

The Metal Gear Solid series. I love playing these games and Sally really got into watching them due to the suberb stories and cinematic gameplay. There wasn’t a whole lot of interaction (except for a few cases of “look behind you dumbass” moments) unfortunately.

    Couple more I’ve remembered.

Indigo Prophecy, while not very interactive, was fun to play together. There weren’t very many opportunities to talk about a decision in the game, it did have a really fantastic story and was fun to watch.

Psychonauts was another good one. There was a decent amount of controller handing back-and-forth for a while, which is a good thing.
