We Are Around
We’ve just been busy. A new GameCube, a few games, the first season of Lost, the first season of West Wing, and stuff like that. I picked up Pikmin, Lost Kingdoms, Animal Crossing, and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes for our brand new GameCube and we recently got both Rez and Stubbs the Zombie from Gamefly. So we’ve been busy. We’ll have info on all of those hopefully before too long. Until then, Happy New Year!

I’m tellin’ ya, get Eternal Darkness! You won’t regret it… Moo hoo ha ha! Oh, and now that you have your own GC…

We’ve been trying to find that one. And yes, we do want to return your GameCube. It’s just been busy since we got home.

the resident evil game is ASTOUNDING. nab that’n. I’d say it’s one of the most gripping titles to come out for the GC.

I’ve been digging RE4, I’m just overwhelmed with games right now. And, I hate to admit it, but I’m really digging Pikmin. RE4 reminds me of System Shock 2 if only in the fact that ammo and item conservation is VITAL. I suppose it adds to the suspense when you run out of shotgun ammo and you have to switch back to the less powerful handgun. But yeah - it’s good.

Stubbs is, by far, one of the most entertaining games on the market today. Great for couples too-nothing brings people closer than the mutual consumption of brains and the use of bodily functions as weapons. Combine that with the West Wing and you’ve got yourself a fun filled evening

there’s nothing to be ashamed about with pikmin. pikmin2 was better than the first, I thought, gets a little more complex.

i’m excited about pikmin2. more complexity as well as the co-op mode seem like extra fun.
and it turns out sally and i weren’t super hot about stubbs. it was pretty fun for a little bit, but just didn’t have enough interesting gameplay or real need for cooperation, which is true of most “coop” games. i’ll probably kvetch about that topic later on.

Seriously though, did you get to the dance off? Or the part with the civil war veterans? and the inbred mountain folk with chainsaws?
